Ed M. Reyes is originally from Manila, Philippines. He moved to the
Orlando area in 1978. He was certified as K9 instructor by
Orange County and he is the only civilian trainer to attend a K9
instructor course.
He was given a Sheriff's citation by the
former Sheriff Kevin Beary, Orange County, Florida for the
outstanding service to the Sheriff's and the citizens of Orange County.
He instructed seminars through the
American Aluminum Accessories, Inc. of Perry, Florida two years in a row
for his expertise in decoy and aggression work.
He was also an instructor to one of
the biggest seminars of the K9 department of Titusville, Florida for their K9 work
shop again for decoy and aggression school.
Instructor for numerous K9 seminars for
decoy and aggression work, remote collar training in both Orlando and Miami with his
friend/mentor PHIL HOELCHER.
He is a DVG and USA (United Schutzhund
Clubs of America) certified helper.
Ed was the 1998 DVG Sch 1 National
Champion in Memphis Tennessee for the DVG America with his Belgian
Malinois "Ianky". Prior to that they won the Southeast Regional
Schutzhund 1 Championship in Florida.
He also did well with his German Shepherd
dog Santo and won numerous titles with him.
Currently, he has two Schutzhund dogs, Hancock (German Shepherd) and Gio (Belgian Malinois). Soon he will be
back in Competition with his two favorite dogs.
He has a very successful breeding program and has a few
young dogs that are currently training with their new owners and some
are already certified police dogs.

channel 2 eyewitness news with newscaster, Raul Martinez, Articles in
Orlando Sentinel and also in Manila Philippines news paper.
Ed also has won high in trial trophies
including high obedience, high tracking and high protection scores in
some local Schutzhund trials.
